Charlotte screened porch with EZ Breeze window system

We get asked at Archadeck of Charlotte all of the time if the EZ Breeze window system from PGT Industries can turn a screen porch into a 4-season room. The answer is sort of. We that are fortunate enough to  live in the Carolina’s, have temperate weather year around. You can use a space heater on the coldest days in winter and ceiling fans on the hottest days in summer and it does make it bearable. The EZ Breeze windows are great at keeping pollen and dust, rain and wind out of your screen porch. It also will definitely prolong the use of your porch! Can you give me an idea of what the cost would be to convert my screen porch into a four seasons room. Most of the openings are seven feet high. There are two openings that are eight feet wide, two four feet wide and one 10 feet wide.

Depending on the area of the country you are from, you can enclose your porch with either glass or the EZ Breeze option we talk about in this blog posting. For example, depending on the amount of retrofit that may need to be done to have the windows fit in your openings, you may be looking anywhere from $3,800 – $5,000.
