Not pulling a permit can hurt financially…bad in Charlotte market

Archadeck of Charlotte recently sold a project that required a building permit. We always go out of our way to pull a permit when it doubt as it protects our customers and our brand. When we went to the zoning board over a setback dispute, the county discovered the next door neighbor had a sizeable project and did not appear to be built to code. The county investigated their records and found there was never a permit pulled on this large scale project. The neighbor now is forced to tear down this patio project that costs them almost $50,000 in the Charlotte market. Please do not be short sighted and let a contractor convince you that you don’t need a permit, this could happen to you!
