Which roof design is the best for my screen porch?

At Archadeck of Charlotte, we often get asked, “which is the best roof style for my screen porch? The answer depends on function and architecture. Take a look at the back of your house and the roof lines. What do you see? The various styles include a shed roof (least expensive), gable roof, hip roof, and a gazebo syle roof. Depending on your existing roof lines and how it will tie in will give you one-half of the answer. The other half lies in function. If you are concerned about how much light will be lost in your home due to the new roof on the screen porch, the best solution is a gable as it will allow the maximum amount of light back into the house. If you want to eliminate the sun from hitting your furniture and heating up your house,  a shed roof or even a hip roof will do the job. Make sure you consult a pro when deciding on the best roof for your screen porch. Too see many screen porch designs, check out the photo gallery at http://www.charlotte.archadeck.com

  1. My husband and i ended up being so joyous when Edward could finish up his homework via the ideas he acquired from your own weblog. It’s not at all simplistic just to be making a gift of ideas which usually many people could have been selling. So we remember we’ve got the writer to give thanks to for that. Most of the explanations you’ve made, the easy web site menu, the relationships you will help to promote – it is all awesome, and it is helping our son and the family reckon that the subject matter is fun, which is certainly incredibly mandatory. Thank you for all the pieces!

  2. I like the helpful information you provide in your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and check again here regularly. I’m quite certain I will learn many new stuff right here! Best of luck for the next!
